EcoCircles.com is about creating gardens in our backyards, filled with biodiversity, that are sustainable and provide food, beauty and enjoyment. It's easiest to think of an ecosystem as a circle where there are minimal inputs and what is "left over" is used by the system.
A perfect example could come from a vegetable garden. We plant seeds which grow to become lush vegetation. We eat the vegetables and compost the leftover vegetation. That compost is then placed on the garden to feed the next season's crop. And, to take it one step further, we allow some vegetables to make seeds so we have seeds to plant the next season.
This is what EcoCircles is all about... learning ways to minimize inputs such as fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides and water and instead utilize what the garden and nature provides to create a beautiful backyard oasis.
